We all like chandeliers at some level, but some of us are having difficulties picturing a chandelier in our homes. Aren’t they usually very large and dominating? Where can I put them, without messing up the balance of decor and free space in my house? And are they not usually very costly? All valid questions for certain. I know of at least brand of chandeliers that gives you positive answers to the above questions – Elk Lighting.
If you have done a little research already, you may have come across Elk Lighting at some point. They can indeed be hard not to see, as they are one of the bigger makers of lighting related products. So how are they special? Well, they have a huge selection to begin with – and at every conceivable price level too. What this means to you, is that you can get something like an italian chandelier (in the style of the famous Murano chandeliers) in all sizes, and from prices around 200 dollars – to several thousands. And yes – on the more expensive models you get fancy things like Swarovski crystals and such, which you do not get on the more modestly priced models – but you still get a good looking design and overall solid build quality. So the basic quality and workmanship is good all across the board, which I find reassuring, when it seems to apply to the entire range of a brand.
You’ll find no shortage of styles either – from the italian chandeliers previously mentioned, to Tiffany-styles, brass chandeliers, wrought iron chandeliers and some very interesting contemporary specimens too. I also found a rich variety of models within style-categories, so you can choose between numerous examples of empire-style chandeliers, just to mention an example. Elk Lighting is definitely worth a look, when hunting for chandeliers.
