A wagon wheel chandelier is a mark of luxury within most homes. 1. Junction box
Before installing a chandelier, it is important to first assess the condition of the ceiling. If the chandelier’s weight is equal or less than a current light fixture, then it can be installed without any further action on behalf of the homeowner. However, if the chandelier’s weight exceeds that of the current light fixture, then the ceiling’s junction box must be replaced to accommodate the greater level of stress that is to be put on it. Next, the homeowner must remove the old junction box and install a newer one that is rated to handle the capacity of the chandelier. 2. Mounting strap

3. Electrical wiring
After the chandelier’s load has been securely mounted into place, then it is time to perform electrical wiring to deliver electricity to the light bulb or other source of lighting. The homeowner should follow his or her previous markings on the wires and attach them to the new unit. However, a second helper or occupant should be close by to restrict a drop to the floor should it fall from the ceiling.
